Works on Paper

Everything I make begins on paper. Ideas become marks, coaxed into images. Through drawing I find the most immediate and direct method to express my ideas. It is the primary language I use to represent my thoughts and shape my intentions.

Over time, drawing has pushed its way from under my paintings to the surface, to hold dominion over my work. And paper has proven itself to be the most luscious recipient of that process.
